He is a level four white witch. Powers: White witch Physical Description: Dark shaggy hair he slicks back when at work, leaves it shaggy when he doesn’t have anywhere to be. Green eyes, stands about 6’0”. Mostly muscular, but doesn’t have a six pack. He has a little fat on him. He’s usually wearing a button up shirt or sweater and jeans, but he wears good pants on Sundays. Personality: Serious about his job and helping his congregation, naïve about sexuality and socializing in high traffic places like bars, dance clubs. He is unsure how he feels about most supernaturals, but disagrees with those who are doing terrible things, vampires who feed without consent, weres who hunt humans, black magic witches, and those with demon blood. He is even more confused about how he feels about vampires in general. He is very devoted to Christianity and helping others, and this devotion carries into whatever else he chooses to do. While he is a white witch, he doesn’t see it as witchcraft, merely a gift that God has given him to do good with. He dislikes how violent his brother and sister are, but sees it as another way to fight evil as long as they don’t torture who they are hunting. He is against violence, and therefore won’t force anyone into doing anything they don’t want to do. He knows how to disable a person, or talk them down from being angry or aggressive, but this can lead him into dangerous situations where he tries to diffuse a bad situation. Sexuality: Heterosexual--He wants to eventually have a wife and a few children, but he is waiting for the right woman. History: Torshael grew up with his family in Scarlet Oak, knowing he wasn’t meant for the occupation most of his family was in. He was not a violent child, in reality he was the one usually breaking up fights. His mother taught him white magic and he grew eagerly into his powers, supplementing them with his angel blood. He was very close to his younger sister and brother as a child, and tried to keep them out of trouble. H At age ten, Torshael was attacked by a lone vampire in a bad thunderstorm but managed to escape with a bad gash to his shoulder. He ran to the hospital and while recovering had a revelation. God had chosen him to lead, but first he needed to learn. When he was released from the hospital, he began eating up the bible, reading it over and over again in a quest for understanding. He went to multiple churches growing up, finally settling with a Baptist church at 20, where he studied under the pastor there for five years and was ordained at 25. He went on to become the pastor of a smaller church connected to the one he was ordained at, and can now proudly say he is the pastor of Second Baptist Church in Scarlet Oak. It is a smaller church with its congregation consisting of about 100 people, but they are well known for being open to all supernaturals and humans. He is still very close to his mother, but has drifted away from his brother and sister in the last two years and is trying to regain contact with them. Since the Light of May: He is definitely concerned for his family’s well being, since they are illegal now, but he hopes it will be for the best. Maybe now people will realize that supernaturals are just the same as everyone else, there are good and bad ones. Special Skills/Abilities: White magic and angel blooded blessings. Personal Weaknesses: Torshael spends so much of his time caring for his congregation and those in need he doesn’t have much time for himself. He is tired a lot and gets sick easily. Conviction. He is opposed to using violence himself, so even though he will disable someone, if they hit him he won’t respond back with violence. He could easily get beat to a pulp. Fear of storms. Ever since he was attacked, his mind has associated his attack with the thunderstorm that was going on at the time. When he is caught in a storm outside he has to get inside immediately, or he’ll have a panic attack. Inside, he will retreat to his basement den which has no windows and stay there until it is over. Light rainstorms he is okay with, but the second he hears thunder he’s panicking. If someone else is with him, it lightens his panic, but it never goes away entirely. Quick to trust. Torshael has been burned many times by druggies and other bad people, but if they come to him for help, Torshael does all he can to help them, even if they’re still doing bad things. Personal Strengths: Belief. He really believes that inside of everyone there is something good. With some it might be buried very very deeply, but regardless, Torshael keeps trying to help people to be good. Family. His family knows a lot of people who know a lot of people. Torshael has connections. Public speaking. He is good at talking, and especially in tense situations. Trustworthy. He is great at calming people down and helping them work through their problems.
